1. Level 4: The End of Albiats

To start this plot point, you can choose between the Intro Plot Point: Necrotic Cave Laboratory, given by Lord Hastings, or by the local law enforcement in Byhase (or a neighboring kingdom) asks for help after seeing the party's success against the bandits on The Long Road.

Another way to give this quest is by Willabee and Arthur finding the party. They could stay in the same inn or have dinner at the same tavern. The method of how they meet is open. The reason Willabee and Arthur would want to join up with the party is because of Kinder and the fact that they have been searching for him.

The party can find the hideout by either finding out its location in the necromancer's cave or being given by Lord Hastings or the local law enforcement. They had been watching the area and freshly discovered its location. They are asking adventurers to raid the hideout, as they are still spread thin with the border war and bandits on the roads. The local law enforcement doesn’t care how the raid is performed, as the neighborhood has gone to hell already. They only request no fire as they don’t need it spreading.

There are two main characters that are part of this quest that turn the tables for the party. These characters are Gerard's parents and simply attacking them will make Gerard want to hunt the party down even more. If they were to be killed by the party Gerard will make it his life goal to kill every member of the party.

Barbos and Frfn Albiat (Gerard's parents) are targeted (if not killed) by the party for a quest to raid a known bandit hideout in Umi (location based on the party). Gerard is already hunting Arthur, Will, and Kinder, but now has an even deeper hatred and desire to wipe out the party.

In the city of Byhase, or any other city if the players have detoured, there is a neighborhood known as the Back Alley Slums. In these sweat and urine-stained streets is a building that hides important Jade Dagger members. The hideout offers illegal items and services like slaves, stolen goods, and hiding spots for informants and members who need to lie low. The building is deep in the heart of the slums where only the foolish travel without purpose and protection. The Albiats run the hideout which is why they are present during the raid.

The Hideout

The hideout is located deep in the Back Ally Slums which has two lookouts at the front of the building. They are beggers who are paid off to keep an eye out for suspicious behavior around the hideout.

The hideout is broken up between three levels: main floor, basement, upstairs. The main floor is where all the business takes place. The upstairs is where they hide important members and the basement is where their illegal goods are held including slaves.
