Da'Har
The Da’Har broke away from their ancestors, the Dek’Ka, upon learning of the surface. A group of the Dek’Ka wished to see the surface and uncover the myth of the massive pools of water surface dwellers called oceans. After many decades of living on the surface, the Da’Har could construct massive floating fortresses they used to explore the ocean. Centuries later, the Da’Har had evolved, becoming one with the sea and no longer needing to rely on the land for nourishment. They developed expanded lung capacity, allowing them to make deep dives for extended periods. Their bodies adjusted to the water and became buoyant, allowing them to float. When the Da’Har returned to land, it was mostly to trade and gather resources for keeping their fortresses afloat. However, often they would capture ships that came into their waters to recycle them for building resources.
As time passed and the world became more civilized, the Da’Har also grew. They no longer captured ships but traded with them and established trade routes with port cities and other Da’Har settlements.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Da’Har’s connection to the ocean has evolved their skin turn bluish-green, blending their original green skin with the blue of the ocean. Their eyes have grown larger to adapt to life on the sea besides better vision underwater. The pressure of deep dives into the ocean depths has naturally evolved the Da’Har’s skeletal structure to become hardened and more durable.
