Razor Spines - General Information
These extremely aggressive and dangerous animals typically live in underground cave systems. The primary time they come out of their nests is to hunt. They do not have any specific species they prefer and will attack whatever is in their territory. What is certain is that they are carnivores and care little about what kinds of meat they consume as long as it’s fresh.

Basic Information
Anatomy
The Razor Spine are ferocious-looking creatures with four powerful feline-like legs and two powerful arms that end in razor-sharp claws. The name Razor Spine comes from their razor-sharp dagger-like spikes that run from the base of their skull to the tip of their long tails. The spikes form together at the end of their tails, creating a curved blade. A single flick of its extremely long tail can slice smaller creatures in half. Typically, their tail is equal to their body but can grow a foot or two longer. To say their tails should be the main thing to avoid would be incorrect, as ignoring the front half of the beast is sure death. Aside from their razor-sharp claws, their massive mandibles and powerful jaw can rip creatures apart in seconds. While they might seem like a powerhouse of offensiveness, their tough leathery hide helps protect them from lacerations.
The physical structure of a Razor Spine is muscular. Their thick jet-black hide stretches tightly around their muscles and bones, which gives them an intimidating appearance.
Biological Traits
To tell the difference between a male and female Razor Spine, look at the color of their spine. White spines indicate males, while deep blue spines are female. Razor Spine pups have a light sky-blue spine until they reach adolescence age, their spine color becomes more dominant in their sex.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Razor Spines’ eyes are solid white, as they have restricted vision from nesting in the dark for centuries. They rely on sound to determine their surroundings and hunting. They have large ear holes on their heads that allow for long-range sound vision. The slightest noise can alert them of your location.
