Level 5: Herbert's Gang

Herbert’s Gang

The Herbert’s Gang comprises four members, as Gerard requested a small group to hunt the party to remain inconspicuous. Herbert Jade agreed to help Gerard because he owed his life to Gerard, and they see each other as brothers.

Bandit One: Jimmy Thrasher – Level 5 – 22-year-old, Human

Jimmy is the youngest and lowest standing in the group following in his twin brother, Thomas’s path. Jimmy looks up at his brother and tries hard to get his approval. He dual wields short swords when he’s not using his bow.

Thomas and Jimmy grew up as farm hands thrashing the wheat among other duties. Not knowing their family history and being orphans, they gained their sir name from their ability to thrash wheat better than the other farmhands. They joined the bandit gang after it attacked and slaughtered their farm. Not having any connections with the farm and always feeling like they could do more, they joined the bandits in the raid, as the leader was impressed.

Bandit Two: Thomas Thrasher – Level 5 – 22-year-old, Human

The third in command was to the bandit gang and twin brother of Jimmy. Following the death of the former third in command during a caravan raid, Thomas stepped into his position. Thomas looks up to the gang’s leader and hopes to one day run his own gang. He wields a claymore with helmet and metal armor.

Bandit Three: Herbert Jade – Level 6 – Leader – 30-year-old, Washian

Born into the Jade Daggers, Herbert grew up only knowing one thing: banditry. Traditionally, a father teaches their son to hunt game, but Herbert’s family was anything but traditional. His first-time hunting was with his parents against a caravan of defenseless peasants. Instead of slitting the throat of a deer, he was slitting humanoids. Herbert was a natural at his family trade, which made his parents proud.

The day came when he was old enough to form his own gang. Being the rulers of a large bandit organization, his parents organized a small group of bandits to work under him as his first bandit gang. His gang grew big enough to be recognized by the Jade Daggers as one of their top gangs. This wasn’t unexpected, since his parents trained him well.

Herbert’s second in command is his lover, Isaac, who stayed behind to run the gang in Herbert’s absence. Herbert wields a revolver and a war pick.

Bandit Four: Christy Farshot – Level 5 – 17-year-old, Kitsune

The smallest and youngest of the group, but some would say the deadliest. Her skills with the musket and stealth are unmatched by the gang. Not much is known about her except that she will hurt anyone who harms her family. She is known as the most ruthless member and is feared by most members. Herbert recruited her from within the Jade Daggers because he saw potential in her. She learned how to shoot from Herbert, but quickly surpassed his skills. Herbert has always been a mentor and father figure to her. She would do anything for him without question.

Her story is simple. Born in the Jade Daggers and being petite, she was taught stealth and thievery. She always wanted more and hated her small size, which prevented her from being seen or respected enough to join a raiding gang. That is until Herbert saw her skills in action.
