Anthropomorphic

The species of anthropomorphic have a wide range of races within it. Typically an anthropomorphic is a part animal part humanoid mix but not all races of that combination are considered anthropomorphic. Most races of the species are one of a kind such as the Faun being part goat or horse and part humanoid. While the aves, feline, and reptilia species are technically considered anthropomorphic they have multiple genetic mutations within the same animal family that makes them their own species in the homo genus.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The anthropomorphic species consists of part animal part human. They have four limbs, two legs, two arms with an modified humanoid skeleton. Typically the legs are the most modified area of the skeletal structure as they retain their animalistic features such as being digitigrade. Other anatomy features vary between the individuals of the races within the species. Some are born with their heads having complete animalistic anatomy or their hands having retractable claws in place of fingernails. Others havae only small features such as their ears being more animalistic and on the top of their head instead of the sides.

Genetics and Reproduction

Races of the anthropomorphic species reproduce through internal fertalization in the same manner as other homo genus species. The anthropomorphic races have their own aspects of reproduction and care for their offspring.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Every homo genus creature genetically has normal vision but through genetic traits the homo-anthropomorphic have been known to be born with altered visions such as night vision. Their other sensory capabilities can develop through their generations and are based on their mutations.
