Nameless' Mischief
Optional Rule
Nameless’ Mischief is a means of providing players the possibility of a ‘second’ chance should they die during gameplay. If the game master includes “Nameless’ Mischief” into a campaign, players may be revived through divine intervention by the God of Chaos himself.
To check if the God of Chaos has distracted Necrosis from taking your life force, roll a self-stamina check using your Nameless’ Mischief Difficulty Rating, found in the corresponding table. A self-stamina check is 1d20 plus your stamina instinct.
Players revived by Nameless’ Mischief become stable, as if an apothecary check was passed. Instead of continuously checking to keep them stable, they wake up once their initial stable period ends, with only one health. Any curable condition (such as poison) remains dormant and must be cured before they awake. If not cured before they awake, the conditions reactivate after one minute.
Once awake, you take the standard amount of fatigue and your insanity stage increases by one.
