The Mask of Many Tales

A mask that never had the same appearance. This runic artifact lets you create as many copies of yourself that is needed to perform each part of a song, story, or artistic performance. The copies acting skills is equal to the users. The copies materialize in physical forms and are identical to the user. They only remain for the duration of the performance and immediately disappear upon completion of the song. If the performance stops before it ends, the copies will remain for one minute before disappearing.

Only one performance piece (i.e. song, story, etc.) can be stored in the item at a time. To replace the performance piece, the user must recite it into the item three times. This item can be activated three times before needing a full recharge, which takes twenty-four hours.

The user must place the mask on their face and recite the mask’s name of which the mask whispers to them to be activated. The masks name changes per user. Upon activation, it becomes transparent as it merges with the user’s face. Once the mask is no longer activated, it removes itself from the user’s face and is no longer transparent. After each use, the mask’s appearance changes into a new look that has never been seen before.

Whenever the mask is activated, the user gains lucky rolls on only their acting skill when performing unless the skill is already lucky, then they gain a +2. This bonus cannot apply to any other skills.

If the user of this item uses music to channel their spells any manifested copies can perform the vocal part of channeling while the rest of the channeling is through you.
