Spending the first indicated cost to activate this spell, you reach into the target’s mind to read their thoughts. Their thoughts appear in your mind as if they are speaking clearly and directly to you. The target must make a psyche check to resist letting you in and upon failure of their check, their mind opens up to you. The initial connection to the target’s mind reveals only their surface thoughts.

While you are inside their mind, you can focus on digging around for specific information in their memory, but this spell becomes a focus spell when doing so. Each time you dig deeper, the target gets to make an additional psyche check to break free.

Paying the second indicated cost lets you implant thoughts into the target’s mind. Doing so causes the target to make an additional psyche check to break free before the thought can be planted. Once planted, the thought becomes a memory the target believes is real.

This spell ends when either the duration ends, the channeler ends it, or the target saves on one of their psyche checks.
