Surge Rifle

This ancient rifle does not require any ammunition or canister. Instead, it has a compartment where the cylinder would be that holds a single runic crystal. The rifle forms the energy within the crystal into a solid bullet. However, the longer the rifle charges up, the stronger the bullet becomes. When firing the rifle you choose how many charges are released. Each charge deals the inditacted damage. The built-up charges must be expelled or the wielder takes the damage from the rifle overloading.

It takes two actions to replace the crystal, and it cannot jam.
