Social Traits
Black Widow
Trait Cost: 4
Can only be taken at character creation
You were born with a knack for getting people to trust you easier and learned to manipulate them to get what you want, mostly for them to die from your poisonous touch.
Perk
Venomous Charm
Your venomous manipulation is so potent you can charm people with your sensual looks and voice. You gain Venomous Charm an ability that lets you charm a target. The target must make a psyche check versus your lucky influence check or fall victim to your charms. If the target fails their check, you can give them one simple command that cannot cause them to do harm to anyone, including themselves. A target can only be charmed once per day.
Charming people can be exhausting work. You can only use Venomous Charm up to half your persona minus two per day (min 1).
Venomous Blood
Your body has gone through a process that has turned your blood into venom. This process is irreversible, but you are immune to your own poison.
You have a set number of Venom Dice, which is equal to your stamina instinct. Each venom will indicate the die size and the effect or damage it can cause. So, if your stamina instinct is a four, then you have four Venom Dice. You then choose how many dice you want to apply to a dose of each venom. If you are looking to take out a target quickly, you could apply all four dice to one dose increasing, its potency and chance for success. This, however, would use all your dice until you take a full rest.
Venom Dice are restored equal to your persona after a full rest. They cannot be chained, and you cannot have more dice than your stamina instinct.
Drawing a single dose of either venom costs five health and can remain potent outside of your body for up to twenty-four hours. It is possible to mix doses to inflict both venoms at the same time.
Your poison is activated through physical skin contact, through a wound, or if consumed. The difficulty rating for your venom is six plus your stamina instinct.
The class of poison flowing through your veins is equal to half your level (min. 1).
You have two different poisons flowing through your veins. The following poisons flow through your veins:
Neurotoxic Venom
This venoms Venom Dice is 1d4 and causes paralysis to the target. The result of the dice is multiplied by ten seconds to get the total duration of paralysis. The target can make a stamina check every ten seconds (at the beginning of their turn) to resist the poison and end the paralysis.
Latrotoxin Venom
This venoms Venom Dice is 1d6 and causes poison damage for 1d4-1 times ten seconds (minimum ten seconds). Every ten seconds, the damage is rolled and applied at the beginning of the target’s turn. The target can make a stamina check every ten seconds (at the beginning of their turn) before the damage applies to resist the poison.
Flaw
You have unlucky rolls when using any weapon or tool except for: chakram, dagger, dart, sai, throwing dagger, or anything listed in the black market section of the marketplace chapter.
Unarmored is the only defense you can have but can chain once. This means dodge and armors cannot be used, including armor accessories.
