Pressurized Flood
Upon channeling this spell, water pours out of the ground in the area of effect. The water does not pour out past the edge of the area of effect, but pools inside it. Every ten seconds, this spell is active water will rise 3 feet, causing the terrain to be difficult. Once the water reaches the height equal to the target’s own height, they become submerged and must swim. However, the pressurized area makes it tough to move and causes targets a -10ft. of movement besides the area being difficult terrain. Targets in the water are pushed to the ground and must make guts checks each round to not be pushed prone.
When this spell ends, the water rushes out of the area of effect, causing waves of water and carrying anything loose away with it. Targets within the range must either get out of the way (reaction check) or resist the flow of water (guts check). If they fail, they are swept away.
This spell remains in effect until the channeler ends it (or loses focus) or runs out of essence to fuel it. The cost of keeping the spell going starts at the beginning of the next round.
