The members of Gerard’s squad are dedicated and loyal to Gerard, no matter the cost. They live and breathe to serve him and would die without hesitation should they be commanded.

Gerard’s Personal Squad

Farith Quikfoot – Level 8 – 23 years old, Jubatus

A quick on her feet martial artist. She met Gerard during a caravan raid as a hired guard. Realizing the bandits were winning the fight, she changed sides, killing the caravan master and his personal security. Gerard saw her talent and recruited her. She excels in, using her claws to rip her opponents to shreds.

Trist Ershot – Level 8 – 23 years old, Ellarian

Trist Ershot is known for her intense ability to listen. She has extra heightened hearing to let her track even the stealthiest targets. She was originally from the Ellarian Empire and trained by the royal guard. However, she grew tired of the strict laws, rules, and dull guard posts. Twelve-hour shifts of standing in the same spot would make any energy filled youth want to pull their hair out. So, she quit and left the Ellarian Empire to seek another life.

Her hearing drew the attention of the Jade Daggers as she took on a job to hunt down one of their members. Having snuck into one of the Jade Dagger camps and about to strike the final blow on her target, she was caught. However, instead of executing her, she was offered a permanent position as a scout. She didn’t hesitate—not just because it was that or death—as the deal was sweater than they realized. She could do as she pleases tracking prey without rules or restrictions, all while being able to take as she pleases. It was the perfect job for her.

She met Gerard during a mission to rob a high noble’s estate as he needed her ears to look out so he could crack a safe. The mission went south because of misinformation and they both nearly died. If it wasn’t for her ears and his instincts, they would have. From that day on, she was bonded to him. The scar Gerard has that runs across his face was from that night.

Trist wields a crossbow and rapier.

Vertas Eversight – Level 8 – 25 years old, Yuki

The gunslinger of Gerard’s scouts. He is known for his enhanced vision and excellent marksmanship with revolvers. Herbert's personal guard was released from duty after proving his worth during a conflict that saved many Jade Dagger members. Since then, he was given the choice to be a scout of which he accepted and, with Herbert’s blessing, became one.

Gerard has always trusted Vertas since the days when he was his personal guard. Saving the army only strengthened their bond.
