Ice Shard
You can conjure a large, sharp ice shard that floats in front of you. The shard can be shot at a target using a magic attack and dealing the indicated damage. Shooting one shard is part of the channeling action. For each additional shard created, the number of actions increases by one. So, creating three shards requires three actions and all three shards can be fired either immediately or as one action each for the duration of the spell.
