Frost Prison
This spell requires constant concentration otherwise, it ends. After channeling this spell, you must continue to use two actions each new turn/round to keep the spell active. The cost of the spell is only applied during the initial channeling of the spell.
Using a magic attack, you blast the indicated target with a line of frost that slowly accumulates ice on its body until the third round of combat in which the target becomes completely frozen. Crossing through the line of frost causes you to become the new target.
During each round, the target is slowly being encased in ice. They can make a guts check to break free from its growing frost prison. If the target is assisted by an ally with breaking free, they gain a +2 to their guts check. The target’s feet are the first to become encased in ice, preventing them from moving away from the spell’s effects.
Once completely trapped in the frost prison, at the start of the targets turn they take 1d8 frost damage. They can continue to break free using a guts check but only after the frost damage is applied.
