Energy Whip
Upon activation, energy physically flows out of your conduit into a long cord. It gives off a small glow in the energy's color used (not a light source).
This cord can be used as a whip to attack targets within the indicated reach using a physical magic attack and has the same properties as a whip.
The cord can also entangle targets, causing them to be helpless if they fail their reaction check. Once entangled, at the beginning of their turn, the target can use a guts check to break free. If successful, the cord vanishes, ending the spell for that specific cord, but other cords are unaffected if channeling multiple.
The cord can also be used as if it was rope.
The cost in actions and essence equals one whip per action. So, if channeling two whips it would cost 2 actions plus the cost in essence for boosting the instances.
If you pay the cost in actions and essence, you can use multiple whips to entangle many targets at once by boosting this spell. This spell also becomes a focus spell and a maximum of five targets can be affected.
Boost
This spell is boosted differently than other spells. The cost for boosting is halved.
