Clone

Create a second instance of yourself that has health equal to the amount of essence used in the channeling of this spell. The clone possesses the same amount of health and essence as the original, and any reduction in one results in a corresponding reduction in the other. The clone can channel spells of the same type as you created it with. However, it consumes its essence with each channeling, and when its essence reaches zero, it disappears. It uses itself as a conduit, ignoring the penalties for channeling without a conduit. Otherwise, the spell lasts for the indicated duration before the energy returns to the atmosphere, ending the spell.

All the clone’s stats are equal to your stats (except for health and essence) at the time of creation. The cloning process includes cloning the layer of clothing in direct contact with your skin, if any. However, no other equipment or gear is cloned.

While the clone is alive, it has the same mentality, memories, and thoughts that you have. It is a literal duplicate of yourself and acts as such, but is aware that it is a copy and not the original. It will obey any command that you specifically give it without question.

The clone has your exact appearance except their dominant eye has an embedded image based on the energy type used. Transmutation is always in effect, so it does not have a visible effect.

  • Chrono – clock face with the arms extending out of the pupil.
  • Elemental (Air) – The eye is transparent.
  • Elemental (Earth) – The entire eyeball appears to be made of stone.
  • Elemental (Fire) – Rings of fire circle the iris.
  • Elemental (Frost) –A thick layer of ice covers the eye.
  • Elemental (Lightning) – Sparks randomly shoot from the iris.
  • Elemental (Water) – A layer of water ripples over the eye.
  • Force – Pale yellow waves flow from the iris outward.
  • Gaia – Vines grow out of the pupil.
  • Necrosis – Dark tendrils appear as if trying to break free from the eye.
  • Photonic – One half reflexes all light and the other absorbs it.
  • Psionic – Orange rings circle around the iris as they ripple and pulse.

If the clone performs an energy surge or over channels, it doubles the essence used instead of the standard effects. If the essence cost drops the clone's health to zero, the spell fails and the clone disappears.
