ARC: Adaptive Runic Cast
Scientists have been able to make fake rune crystals that are unstable compared to the authentic version. Using energy casting of adaptive energy, the Adaptive Runic Cast, or ARC for short, was created. The downside to an ARC is that they have less maximum bursts (10). Also, if activating the item requires a roll, so being a one, it discharges an extra wasted burst. Otherwise, they function in the same way as a real rune crystal. ARCs are sold in energetic shops but they come with a high price tag.
