Imo stands ten feet tall. He literally looks down on people with his one massive eye as he watches patrons of Usapo’s tavern. Imo might not be the brightest, but what he lacks in brains he makes up for with brawn.
The history of Imo is an odd one for a cyclops. He started his career in the military but was quickly removed because he had difficulty following orders. Not in a rebellious sense, but simply because he didn’t like being yelled at, and the commands were confusing. After the military, he tried his hand as a city guard, which turned out to be even more confusing. Not sure what to do, he found himself working at the docks of Mythlinde.
As stated, Imo isn’t the most intelligent fellow, and because of that, he’s been picked on most of his life. While he is firm, he is not quick to anger (mostly because he’s easily confused).
One evening, Imo was being bullied by a group of street urchins, a regular ritual for them. Only this night did they take it too far and start beating him. Just as Imo had enough, Usapo and his crew rounded the corner. Seeing what was about to happen, he shot his arm in the air, scattering the urchins. Usapo ordered his men to take Imo back to the ship and dress his wounds. From that day, Imo has never left Usapo’s side.
