This common looking fishing rod is actually a deadly weapon used by the fisher monks of the Stillwater lake.
This rod has the stats of a bo staff along with the ability to grapple targets up to 30ft. away. While grappling a target, the fishing rod can be used as a bo staff without penalties or restrictions from grappling a target.
Once a target is grappled, the wielder can use one action to reel them in up to 15ft. per action. To avoid falling prone, the target being reeled in must make a guts check. The fishing line is made of spider thread. The rod is made of purple heart.
This rod can also be used for fishing.
